What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email and name. As you use Meeem we store the content you create: app prompts, generated apps, comments, likes, downloads and follows. We also collect anonymous usage signals (views, dwell time) to rank the feed, and a device token if you enable push notifications.

Account email

We use an email provider for operational messages such as sign-up and sign-in verification codes, welcome, password reset, and membership status. We send onboarding or return tips only after separate consent. You can turn those tips off in account settings or through the unsubscribe link in every message. Turning off tips does not affect necessary security or payment messages.

AI processing

Your app prompts and comments are processed by the Google Gemini API to build apps, generate icons, and moderate comments. If you use a generated app whose creator enabled external AI, your input may be sent to the creator-selected provider (Google, OpenAI or Anthropic). We never send your Meeem password to AI services.

Payments and balances

Stripe processes web purchases, Apple or Google processes mobile purchases, and RevenueCat helps synchronize subscription status. We do not store your full card number. We store plan status, Build Credit and Coin balances, debit and purchase history, memberships, and creator earnings to prevent duplicate charges and fraud and to support your account.

Referrals and abuse prevention

If you use the referral program, we store the invitation code, status, and associated rewards. We use one-way fingerprints of the visitor identifier and network address to detect self-referrals, duplicate devices, and fraud; these fingerprints are not shown to users or used for advertising. The inviter sees the friend's first name and reward status after the friend joins through the link.

App identity and Meeem Cloud

By default, each generated app receives a different pseudonymous identifier for you. We do not share your name, handle or profile photo with an app unless you consent when the app requests it. An app may store JSON data in Meeem Cloud under its declared access rules. When the creator's plan expires, writes stop immediately, reads expire after 30 days, and deletion is scheduled after 90 days.

API keys

Creator-supplied AI provider keys are encrypted on the server with AES-256-GCM and are never sent to generated app code or its users. We decrypt a key only to make a request to the selected provider and display a short fingerprint instead of the key value.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or run tracking ads.

Storage & retention

Data is stored on our own servers. Published apps are public to all users. We retain account data while the account exists, subject to the Cloud periods above. Stripe, Apple, Google and RevenueCat may retain payment records under their own policies and legal obligations after your Meeem account is deleted.

Deleting your account & data

You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete account in the app or on the web. Deletion removes your account, apps, comments and usage data, and cannot be undone. Questions: hello@meeem.ai.
